“About” Me
The marks, they come to life and escape the confines of my soul. The canvas opens up, ready to take in all that is left of me. Time no longer survives continuously…and, I am. I am the friend you haven’t seen in a while, and maybe should call. I am the sister you lost contact with, the lover who never knows what to say. I am the shiver up your spine when your body aligns, the remedy in your cup when all else fails.
I am the stranger who keeps walkin’ cause in NY, we don’t have time for small talk. The LA transplant, barely surviving on 2 jobs, with a canvas and dream. I am the concrete jungle, the wrath of the amazons, the mestizo witnessing the death of my people. I am the death of my people, and the birth of a thousand tales.
I am the artist who survived.
